Myrtos beach is regularly lauded as a standout amongst the most sensational coasts in Greece with its cleanliness, the incredible interchange of colors of its scintillating waters and the natural beauty of the cliffs enveloping it. Film buffs will remember it as the area for the mine blast in Captain Corelli’s Mandolin and the first time you catch sight of it from the coast road high above is truly memorable. It is without doubt one of the most beautiful beaches of the island.
